What You’ll Do

The Enterprise Architect (EA) is responsible for defining and maintaining the organization’s enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment between business goals, technology capabilities, and long-term scalability. This role partners across IT, Product, Security, and Executive Leadership to design integrated solutions, guide technology decisions, and ensure the architectural integrity of systems and platforms

Role responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture Strategy

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap covering applications, data, infrastructure, and security.
  • Translate business strategies into actionable architecture frameworks and technology standards.
  • Ensure architectural alignment with organizational goals, scalability needs, and regulatory requirements.

Technology Governance & Standards

  • Define and enforce architecture principles, guardrails, and best practices.
  • Lead architecture reviews, solution evaluations, and technology selections.
  • Establish reference architectures and reusable design patterns.

Solution Architecture Leadership

  • Provide architectural oversight for major initiatives, ensuring systems integrate effectively.
  • Review solution designs to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to guide end-to-end solution delivery.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Engage with business leaders to understand strategy, pain points, and future needs.
  • Work with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to ensure cohesive technology ecosystem.
  • Facilitate architectural discussions and decision-making with stakeholders.

Technology Modernization & Innovation

  • Drive cloud strategy, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Identify emerging technologies and evaluate applicability to the organization.
  • Lead assessments of current-state architecture and implement improvement plans.

Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain enterprise architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and system inventories.
  • Communicate architectural concepts and decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT architecture roles (enterprise, solution, or technical).
  • Demonstrated experience designing large-scale, distributed, cloud-based systems.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern integration patterns (APIs, microservices, event-driven).
  • Familiarity with security, data governance, and infrastructure architectures
