$60,000–$75,000/year (based on license & experience)

About the Role:


The Outpatient Alcohol and Drug Counselor is responsible for providing comprehensive, person-centered care through:

  • Ongoing client assessment and individualized treatment planning
     
  • Facilitating individual sessions, educational sessions, and group counseling
     
  • Leading a telehealth, co-ed outpatient group from 6-9 PM
     
  • Ensuring all practices align with Minnesota Rule 245G and ethical standards
     


You’ll join a collaborative, trauma-informed care team dedicated to ethical, empathetic service.



Compensation:

  • Temporarily Licensed: $55,000 – $73,915/year
     
  • Fully Licensed: $60,000 – $75,000/year
    Final offer based on license level and experience.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Licensure by the State of Minnesota for Alcohol and Drug Counselor in good standing OR Temporary Permit through the State of Minnesota in good standing.
  • Know and understand the implications of chapter 245G, chapter 245A, and sections 626.556, 626.557 and 626.5572.


Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, etc.
  • Frequently communicate with employees, managers, patients and other individuals with key relationships. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in these situations.
  • Frequently move around the office to access file cabinets, office machinery and supplies, etc
