About this position

Position Description: A pizza cook is responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas, ensuring high-quality ingredients and techniques are used to deliver delicious results.
Key Responsibilities

Dough Preparation: Prepare pizza dough from scratch, ensuring the right consistency and flavor.
Topping Assembly: Slice and chop various toppings, including vegetables and meats, and assemble pizzas according to customer orders.

Cooking: Operate pizza ovens, monitoring temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.

Quality Control: Ensure that all pizzas meet quality standards and are presented attractively to customers.
Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment, while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assist in placing orders for supplies as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and timely service during busy periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Proven work experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role in a restaurant setting.

Culinary Skills: Excellent knowledge of pizza preparation and baking techniques, including various styles (e.g., thin crust, deep dish).

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure each pizza is made to specifications and quality standards.

Time Management: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Salary Information
