We are seeking a Dental Assistant / Front Office Admin to support both clinical and administrative operations at our Reno Dentures and Implants practice. This hybrid role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth, compassionate, and efficient patient experience from first contact through treatment and follow-up.


Key Responsibilities


Clinical / Back Office

  • Assist the doctor chairside during dental and surgical procedures
     
  • Review medical histories, take vital signs, and document medications and alerts
     
  • Set up and break down operatories; clean and sterilize instruments per OSHA and infection control standards
     
  • Capture panoramic and CBCT imaging
     
  • Educate patients on procedures and pre-/post-operative instructions
     
  • Monitor and restock clinical supplies and inventory
     
  • Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
     

Front Office / Administrative

  • Answer incoming calls and greet patients professionally
     
  • Schedule appointments and assist with patient coordination and follow-up
     
  • Support patient communication throughout their treatment journey
     
  • Assist with patient records, forms, and general office organization
     
  • Provide front desk coverage and administrative support as needed
     

Qualifications


Required

  • Dental Assistant experience
     
  • Working knowledge of dental terminology
     
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
     
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
     
  • Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
     
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control standards
     

Preferred

  • X-ray certification
     
  • CPR certification
     
  • Experience with Open Dental software
     
  • Familiarity with implants and dentures

Salary Information

$20.00 - $22.00 Hourly Wage
