About the Role:

The Production / Process Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of manufacturing processes within the facility. This position is responsible for monitoring, adjusting, and maintaining production equipment to meet quality and output standards. The technician collaborates closely with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce waste. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are paramount to maintain a safe working environment and consistent product quality. Ultimately, this role contributes directly to the company’s ability to deliver high-quality products on time while optimizing operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Min 5 years experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to production equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, such as process instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing technology, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Experience with process control systems and automated production equipment.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure continuous and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot process deviations or equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance to optimize production workflows.
  • Document production data, process changes, and maintenance activities accurately to support quality control and regulatory requirements.
