Who We’re Looking for: We are wanting to add a positive, hard-working, and smart individual to our like-minded team. The role reports to the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and has no direct reports.
Pharmacy Delivery Driver General Requirements:
Present yourself in a professional manner at all times
Ability and willingness to work as a team player, with excellent co-worker communication and a positive attitude showing commitment to the team responsibilities and tasks with a unified purpose.
Strong written, computer, and oral communication skills
Willingness to assist, specialize and share in the duties of all pharmacy tasks and direction from the pharmacist.
Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions independently and effectively
Must have a valid and current driver's license
Must have weekend on-call availability
Pharmacy Delivery Driver General Responsibilities:
Responsible to deliver medications
Responsible to run pharmacy errands
Shopping for specialty items
Destruction of medications
Any pharmacy cleaning needs
Filing prescriptions
Extra tasks as assigned by the pharmacist
Folding of pass packs
Add delivery to one drive
Maintenance and cleanliness of company cars.
Physical Abilities:
Long periods of standing and bending
Able to operate equipment such as computers, scan guns, automated filling machines, heat sealers, etc.
Ability to occasionally lift 25lbs rarely up to 50lbs assisted lift
