Job Description
Southern Oregon Orthopedics is seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist, Hand Therapist, or Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to join our specialized hand therapy clinic. Our therapists work collaboratively with an experienced team of hand surgeons and orthopedic surgeons to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
This position offers the opportunity to treat a wide range of upper extremity conditions across patients of all ages in a supportive, team-oriented clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity and hand-related conditions
- Fabricate and fit custom orthoses
- Fit and adjust prefabricated splints
- Perform manual therapy techniques
- Utilize therapeutic modalities as appropriate
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with hand surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, and clinical staff
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely
Schedule Options
- 4 days / 10-hour shifts, or
- 5 days / 8-hour shifts
Compensation
$90,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience and credentials
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Oregon (or eligible for licensure)
- Hand therapy experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
