Job Description:

The Laundry Attendant processes and cares for hotel linens, towels, and uniforms, ensuring clean, fresh, and wrinkle-free items are available for guests and staff. This position sorts, washes, dries, folds, and stores laundry according to hotel standards, while maintaining the organization of the laundry area and operating all equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Sort and separate linens, towels, and uniforms before washing.
• Operate washers, dryers, and folding machines safely and efficiently.
• Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage before processing.
• Fold, organize, and store clean items neatly in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
• Monitor chemical levels and report equipment malfunctions to management.
• Follow proper safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Assist with inventory counts and report shortages when needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to operate commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 40 pounds
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
