We’re looking for a Metrologist to join our team in Cranston, RI and help ensure the accuracy and reliability of the measurements that drive our manufacturing excellence.
What You’ll Do
As a Metrologist, you’ll be a key partner in maintaining and improving the integrity of our measurement systems. Your work will directly impact product quality and process efficiency, from calibration to continuous improvement. You will:
Develop and implement measurement protocols and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct statistical analyses, including Measurement System Analysis (MSA), to evaluate and optimize measurement processes.
Perform regular calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of measurement tools and equipment.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve measurement challenges and support new process development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date calibration records to support audits and compliance efforts.
Train and support team members on metrology techniques and best practices.
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Metrology, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
3+ years of hands-on experience in metrology, quality assurance, or measurement systems.
Strong understanding of calibration processes, measurement standards, and quality protocols.
Solid data analysis and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification from a recognized metrology organization.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and methods.
Experience in OGP, Hexagons (PC Dmis), and GD & T.
