INVENTORY SPECIALIST/WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE We are seeking a reliable and efficient Inventory Specialist/Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods in a warehouse setting in addition to restocking and counting inventory. This role prioritizes inventory flow with an addition to other warehouse roles. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Main Key Responsibilities: Tracking inventory levels making sure counts are accurate at all times. Updating inventory systems logging items in SamPro. Conducting cycle counts & audits regular physical counts to catch discrepancies Investigating shortages or overages figuring out what went wrong and fixing it Coordinating with the team warehouse and procurement Organizing storage areas keeping the warehouse and inventory clean and efficient Pick, stage, and organize materials for outgoing jobs based on daily schedules and priorities Complete truck inventory audits/cycle counts ensure vehicles are clean/presentable prior to dispatching back to technician Stock technician trucks with predetermined inventory per stocking list
Additional Responsibilities: Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and related tools Reordering stock flagging low inventory and helping prevent stockouts Preparing inventory reports sharing insights on usage, trends, and needs Supporting loss prevention helping reduce waste, damage, or theft
Requirements: Previous experience in a warehouse inventory role is preferred Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to operate warehouse machinery (training provided if necessary) Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting Previous forklift operator experience a plus- will provide certification and training if needed
