Position Description:

Are you passionate about ensuring safety, reducing risk, and driving quality in healthcare or mental health settings? We are seeking a Risk Manager to oversee our Risk Management Program and help create a safer environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. In this role, you will evaluate incidents, identify trends, and implement strategies to reduce risk, while providing training and guidance to staff and leadership.

What Youll Do:

Lead and manage the facilitys Risk Management Program and Individual Served Safety Plan Conduct and oversee investigations of adverse incidents, including allegations of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and grievances Coordinate regulatory and external agency investigations, audits, and compliance reporting Review daily event reports and provide timely analysis and recommendations to leadership Aggregate and analyze incident data to identify trends and implement risk reduction strategies Lead post-incident reviews, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives Conduct Quarterly Suicide Risk Assessments and the Annual Hazard Vulnerability Analysis Develop and deliver training to staff and leadership on risk management and regulatory requirements Serve as Chairperson of the Patient Safety Committee

What Were Looking For:

Education & Training:

Associates degree (required) Bachelors degree (preferred)

Experience:

2 years of experience in risk management or 3 years in a healthcare or mental health setting (required) Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) or other accreditation systems and patient safety (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications:

State-specific risk management license (preferred)
