Were looking for a Client Care Assistant (CCA) to
support day-to-day care, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals with
severe and persistent mental illness. Working under the supervision of licensed
nurses and nursing leadership, youll help create a safe, supportive
environment while providing dignity, structure, and stability through hands-on
care and activities.
What Youll Do
- Conduct
ongoing assessments of individual needs, ensuring stabilization and crisis
intervention when necessary.
- Support
individuals with structured daily activities that promote well-being,
independence, and recovery.
- Maintain
accurate documentation of care provided and promptly report changes in
status to the licensed nurse.
- Assist
with unlicensed nursing tasks as assigned under supervision.
- Communicate
regularly with supervisors and the treatment team regarding care and
progress.
- Promote
a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all individuals served.
- Demonstrate
flexibility in schedule, physical ability to perform care duties, and
adaptability to varying environments.
What Were Looking For
Education & Training
- High
School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Graduate
of a nursing assistant or medical assistant school, or certification as a
CNA/CMA (preferred)
Experience
- One
(1) year of relevant healthcare or mental health experience (preferred)
Licenses/Certifications
- CNA,
CMA, or other healthcare certification (preferred)
