Job Description
Responsibilities
The Principal Trainer is responsible for mastering both an Epic application and the specific workflows of that application which is applied to the development and implementation of the training program for assigned application(s). Principal Trainer responsibilities includes building, testing, and maintaining the training environment as well as developing and maintaining training materials. This role is responsible for training additional Trainers within the organization, maintaining policy/procedure documentation, providing training for new hires, and coordinating training for new software releases and updates.
Qualifications
Required:
- With Associates Degree: Three years facilitating adult education, instructional design and curriculum delivery
- Without Associates Degree: Five years facilitating adult education, instructional design and curriculum delivery
- EPIC Certification/Accreditation: Must obtain Epic Curriculum Certification or Accreditation within twelve weeks of hire.
Desired:
- With Associates Degree: Five years facilitating adult education in a clinical setting; Three years training in an Epic enterprise implementation or Epic installation environment
- Without Associates Degree: Five years facilitating adult education in a clinical setting; Three years training in an Epic enterprise implementation or Epic installation environment
- Bachelor Degree
