About this position
Stadium Ops involves a comprehensive, team-based approach to ensure venue safety, functionality, and cleanliness for athletes and spectators. It includes pre-event setups (seating, lighting), active, in-game sanitation (cleaning, trash removal), and post-event repairs. This includes managing restrooms, HVAC systems, and waste, while mitigating risks.
This function is critical for creating a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience for everyone, often referred to as "the team behind the team".
Requirements:Key Responsibilities:
-Perform daily walk-throughs, inspections, and repairs to lighting, audio-visual systems, and structural elements.
-Cleaning seating areas, restrooms, concourses, suites, and VIP lounges, often before, during, and after events.
-Prepare the venue by setting up tables, barriers, and field equipment, sometimes starting hours before the event.
-Ensuring the venue meets all local and national safety codes, including managing hazards and protecting against injuries.
-Intensive cleaning, waste removal, and equipment check.
-Thorough sanitization of all public and private areas to prepare for the next event.
-Ongoing maintenance of plumbing, electricity, HVAC, and surfaces.
