About this position
Description:
- Read and follow production and engineering drawings or assemblies to build microwave and millimeter wave components and subassemblies.
- Perform mechanical assembly by using hand tools such as screwdrivers, tweezers, handpresses, and torque wrenches using manufacturing instructions.
- Perform conductive-epoxy die attach by using hand tools with an accuracy of +/- 0.002 inches.
- Perform diode placement and substrate fitting by using hand tools with an accuracy of +/- 0.002 inches.
- Perform mixing, measuring and application of a variety of conformal coatings, elastomer, potting, and bonding materials to various assemblies.
- Perform reliability testing of assembled components and subassemblies by using bond-pull and die-shear equipment.
- Complete inline inspection or peer review to ensure parts and assemblies meet industry-defined ESD, quality, and workmanship standards.
- Accurate completion of device paperwork and quality documentation.
- Completes assigned work orders within the designated NetSuite time estimates.
- Responsible for following the company safety and ESD regulations at all times.
- Ensure work areas are kept neat, clean, and organized per company guidelines.
- Performs other duties and/or specific projects as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in electronic industry required.
- High degree of dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to handle hand tools and delicate products or parts.
- Must have good computer skills and able to read prints.
- Basic knowledge is required in both written and spoken English.
