Position Summary
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Attendance at work on a regular and reliable basis
· Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job
· Procure supplies and equipment per facility policy
· Receive freight into materials management software
· Delivery of stock supplies and equipment purchases throughout the facility per electronic requisitions received in the department via materials management software
· Research GPO website for supply and equipment pricing
· Approval of invoices and assignments of general ledger (GL) numbers via materials management software or manual submissions to Accounts Payable
· Unloading supplies and equipment for distribution throughout the facility
· Communication with other departments and reporting supply needs and problems to your direct supervisor
· Manage backorders by communicating delays and seek alternative options
· Perform cycle counts in storeroom(s)
· Assist in counting and recording year-end inventory
· Monitor expiration dates of supplies
· Attend departmental and in-service meetings/trainings as requested/required
· Restock storeroom(s)
· Mail packages via UPS/Fed Ex for all department needs
· Record daily inventory transfers via materials management system
· Willingness to attend outside meetings and training opportunities. Share any and all pertinent information with department and others.
· Maintains departmental knowledge in all areas of responsibilities including regulatory requirements
· Provides accurate and timely periodic reports for both internal and external use
· Identify and communicate any major areas of concern in a timely manner to the appropriate team member
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· High school graduate
· Intermediate to advanced computer/software skills
· High attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience with purchasing of supplies and equipment
· Inventory control management
· Working knowledge of pricing contracts (GPO’s, etc.)
