Reports to: Assigned Foreman

Job Summary: The Landscape Maintenance Employee will be responsible for performing grounds maintenance at commercial sites. Duties of the Landscape Maintenance Employee consist of mowing grass, using the weed eater or edger, blowing leaves, sweep and maintain parking lots, curbs, exterior and public areas. Pruning of trees and shrubs may be required.

Landscape Maintenance Employees Will Demonstrate:

• Understanding of good landscaping practices
• Previous experience in a green-industry field or a green-industry-related field
• Strong Communication Skills
• Team-building Qualities
• Desire for Ongoing Training – web based or hands on with Foreman
• Reliability
• Bilingual a plus

Daily Responsibilities (Including but Not Limited To):

• Logging work time
• Wearing proper PPE
• Checking equipment mechanics and fluids prior to use
• Reporting and communicating job-related functions to Foreman
• Executing field work with the following tools:
  1. Zero Turn Mower, Push Mower, String Trimmer, Straight Edger, Hedge Trimmer, Pole Saw

Weekly Responsibilities (Including but Not Limited To):

• Attending Safety Meetings per week
• Work 6-day week – Monday through Saturday
• Communicating Schedule needs and conflicts with Foreman

Pay:

• Starting pay varies by experience
