Position Summary: Performs various clerical duties to store, maintain, and protect the integrity and security of client medical records.

RESPONSIBLITIES

 

  • Properly handle requests for sensitive information, ensuring records are released according to applicable rules and regulations.   Invoice as necessary.
  • Scan and file documents into Electronic Health Record. Ensure files include all pertinent information.
  • Document and respond to audit requests in a timely manner.
  • Review patient records on a regular basis for compliance and report findings to leadership.
  • Provides excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Identify areas of opportunities to increase efficiency in workflows and processes.
  • Medical Records and EHR training as needed.
  • Resource for the organization for Privacy & Security Rules and Regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required. 

 

Experience:

 

  • Medical or administrative experience preferred.
  • Experience with PC and Microsoft software.

    2. This position may require exerting up to 40 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or move objects.
