Reports to: SERVICE MANAGER
Primary Purpose:
The Parts Supervisor manages the daily functions of Parts Coordinators. This position will maintain sufficient parts inventory levels, coordinate ordering processes, manage PO’s, conduct cycle counts and minimize loss and/or theft. The Parts Supervisor functions as the primary liaison between the Branch Service Department personnel and customers.
Essential Functions:
- Follow and enforce all branch and company inventory control policies and procedures.
- Maintain minimum and maximum supply of parts based on equipment inventory and usage.
- Organize and maintain a Parts Stockroom to improve efficiencies and enhance employee safety.
- Assist Mechanics and Customers with parts selections and delivery urgency.
- Generate PO’s for orders filled and documents parts received per branch and company policies.
- Oversee shipping and receiving of all parts. Stock and notify mechanics and customers accordingly.
- Conduct cycle counts and complete internal parts audits.
- Coordinate and oversee year end parts inventory counts.

Requirements
Skills: Ability to read and understand directions and procedures. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Computer proficient with Microsoft Word, AS400 and inventory control programs.
Experience/Education: High School degree with 2-5 years’ experience working the counter in a parts, inventory control or merchandising environment. Experience with construction equipment or rental industry helpful.
