Manufacturing Material Handler - First shift - Based in Beverly, MA
SUMMARY: Supports Warehouse and production departments in the handling, movement, storage and packing of materials.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Collects and moves completed orders from production to Shipping and Receiving
- Receives, moves and stores material into stock and into inventory feed locations utilizing all related material handling equipment, including fork lifts, cranes, hand carts, etc.
- Accurately records shipments and receipts into ERP database program.
- Unpacks parcels and delivers to inventory stock locations.
- Ensures Inventory is identified and properly stored
- Monitors and replaces inventory Kanban stores
- Helps maintain Warehouse Stores area by sweeping and cleaning floors regularly
- Operates all related material handling equipment as authorized including fork lifts, cranes, hand carts, etc.
- General carpentry skills to repair broken skids / crates as needed
- Packages materials for shipment and provide regular support to Shipping/Receiving Department as needed
- Participates in weekly cycle counting activities
