About this position
This full-time professional position is responsible for responding to member and employer inquiries regarding the employee benefit programs offered by the Health Trust, as part of a team of professional Member Service Representatives. Employee benefit programs include health, dental, vision, life, short and long disability benefits.
Work involves extensive telephone and email communication, the ability to understand and clearly explain employee benefits, frequent contact with Health Trust administrative vendors and providers, and the use of multiple electronic vendor information systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written customer service skills, a knowledge of claims administration, and strong organizational, problem solving and time management skills. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team-based environment is essential.
One to three years’ experience in employee benefits, medical plan claims processing, or an insurance or business-related field is desired. A diploma is required, and some additional college coursework is desirable. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
