Basic purpose of the job: 

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing business with specific OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and major accounts. This role focuses on proactively developing strategic relationships with the key accounts to drive sales growth and increase overall account profitability. The individual will serve as the primary contact for assigned OEM customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while identifying and capturing new business opportunities. Responsibilities include both the development of new business and the ongoing management of existing relationships, with a commitment to meeting sales targets and contributing to the company's long-term success. 


     

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Account Development:
    Cultivate and grow relationships with both existing and prospective key accounts to drive long-term business opportunities and   strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Customer Liaison:
    Serve as the primary point of contact between key customers and internal stakeholders at Quicke/JOST, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Customer Support &   Resolution:
    Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly; coordinate with relevant departments to determine and implement corrective actions, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Needs   Analysis:
    Proactively engage with customers to understand their business requirements, recommend tailored solutions, and identify opportunities for added value.
  • Cross-Functional   Collaboration:
    Work closely and cooperatively with internal departments—including Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Logistics, and Marketing—to align efforts and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
  • Reporting &   Insights:
    Prepare and present regular reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to the management team, offering insights into account performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Negotiation &   Contract Management:
    Identify customer requirements and negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions that align with business objectives while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Business Plan   Execution:
    Contribute to the achievement of annual sales targets and strategic objectives as outlined in the business plan.
  • Accounts Receivable   Support:
    Collaborate with the Accounting department to monitor and support the resolution of customer receivables and credit issues.
  • Additional   Responsibilities:
    Perform other tasks and special assignments as directed by the immediate manager in alignment with company goals.
Requirements:

Specific responsibility areas (process, budget and financial, operational and working environment)

Understand the customers process and the interaction with Quicke/Jost. Create close relationship with the customers by personal contact with customer stakeholders. Frequent travel to customers Worldwide. 

     

Knowledge, skills and abilities required 

  •  Demonstrated   experience in B2B solution sales/consultative selling experience in a global,   industrial field
  • Agricultural/tractor/loader   experience highly preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software and Warehouse Management System. (SAP, Movex)
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal organizational & commercial skills.
  • Ability to build strategic internal and external relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Broad experience executing industry-wide partnership strategies to build innovative product experiences.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within North America and Internationally.

     

Education/Other Relevant Information 

  • Agricultural/tractor/loader   experience highly preferred
  • 3 - 5 years   direct industry sales experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience   preferred. 

  

Special Working Conditions:

 

Working conditions are normal for an office environment and non-climate controlled manufacturing facility with extended

periods at a computer sitting or standing. Traveling to customers manufacturing and distribution sites. In the field at agriculture or construction sites may occur.
