JOB SUMMARY: 

The Cabana Snack Bar Attendant provides friendly and efficient poolside service to club members and guests. This role is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized snack bar and pool area, and delivering an exceptional member experience while complying with all state and local regulations.


This is a seasonal position beginning Memorial Day weekend and ending Labor Day weekend.

  • Open Memorial Day weekend
  • Saturdays and Sundays only through Mid-June
  • Full operating schedule (days, evenings, and weekends) from Mid-June through Labor Day weekend

Pool Hours: 

Saturday – Thursday 10:30AM – 7:00PM & Friday 10:30AM – 8:00PM


Candidates must be available to work the entire season. One pre-approved week off for vacation may be granted. 


Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00 per hour 


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Attend and participate in all required training sessions and team meetings
  • Maintain positive and professional working relationships with team members and guests
  • Perform assigned opening and closing duties
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the club POS system
  • Prepare light food items following standard recipes and portion guidelines
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with presentation standards
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation and snack bar area
  • Properly store food products in designated storage areas
  • Restock inventory and supplies as needed
  • Follow all safe and sanitary food handling procedures
  • Clean and secure the snack bar area according to established procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures
  • Promptly report any issues, concerns, or equipment problems to management
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license (required to transport food items via golf cart)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • RAMP certification or ability to obtain certification is a plus
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, guest relations, and service etiquette
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and occasional special events
  • Consistent and reliable attendance
  • Professional appearance; must arrive in full uniform and ready to work
  • Commitment to proper handwashing and food safety standards

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and carrying
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance
  • Ability to perform moderate to somewhat strenuous physical activity daily
  • May be exposed to moderate noise levels


Salary Information

$15.00 - $15.00 Hourly Wage
