JOB SUMMARY:
The Cabana Snack Bar Attendant provides friendly and efficient poolside service to club members and guests. This role is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages, maintaining a clean and organized snack bar and pool area, and delivering an exceptional member experience while complying with all state and local regulations.
This is a seasonal position beginning Memorial Day weekend and ending Labor Day weekend.
- Open Memorial Day weekend
- Saturdays and Sundays only through Mid-June
- Full operating schedule (days, evenings, and weekends) from Mid-June through Labor Day weekend
Pool Hours:
Saturday – Thursday 10:30AM – 7:00PM & Friday 10:30AM – 8:00PM
Candidates must be available to work the entire season. One pre-approved week off for vacation may be granted.
Pay Rate: Starting at $15.00 per hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Attend and participate in all required training sessions and team meetings
- Maintain positive and professional working relationships with team members and guests
- Perform assigned opening and closing duties
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the club POS system
- Prepare light food items following standard recipes and portion guidelines
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with presentation standards
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation and snack bar area
- Properly store food products in designated storage areas
- Restock inventory and supplies as needed
- Follow all safe and sanitary food handling procedures
- Clean and secure the snack bar area according to established procedures
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures
- Promptly report any issues, concerns, or equipment problems to management
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (required to transport food items via golf cart)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- RAMP certification or ability to obtain certification is a plus
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, guest relations, and service etiquette
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and occasional special events
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Professional appearance; must arrive in full uniform and ready to work
- Commitment to proper handwashing and food safety standards
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, and carrying
- Ability to lift to 25 pounds independently and over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to perform moderate to somewhat strenuous physical activity daily
- May be exposed to moderate noise levels
