About this position
Description:
The Parts Cleaner/ Expediter is responsible for the cleaning of parts manually or machine-assisted throughout the repair and overhaul cycle of Aircraft engines and related accessories. They will perform concentration checks on tank solutions as well as conduct shop practice audits to maintain compliance.
Typical tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Engine Cleaning
- Parts Washing
- Plastic beading
- Flushing
- Vibratory cleaning
- Chemical stripping
- Dry/wet abrasive grit blasting
- Performs concentration checks on tank solutions
- Performs shop practice audits to ensure cleaning line is audit compliant, clean and organized.
- Inspect and report any damage or repairs needed to the maintenance team
- Follow strict safety and sanitation protocols
- Replenishment of Consumables & Chemicals
- Other duties as assigned

- Previous experience in aviation or industrial cleaning
- Knowledge of cleaning agents and maintenance equipment specific to aircraft
- Willingness to undergo training and certification as required
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Experience of working with chemicals and exposure to personal protective equipment at work will be asset
- Demonstrated manual dexterity and able to interpret technical instructions
- Able to liaise with other Company personnel in a positive manner and work effectively in a team environment as well as independently

Location Requirements:
- Operation based in Ypsilanti, MI
- There is no ability to work from home
Shift Requirements:
- Must be available full-time and work overtime when required
- Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm
- Overtime, when required
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
