Position Description: Job Summary: The Cook at DWC is responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to established recipes and standards. They ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently and that all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed. Our Cooks take pride in consistently delivering delicious and well-presented dishes, contributing to a positive guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation: Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Also become familiar with the POS and front house operations.
Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate kitchen equipment, including fryers, ovens, and knives.
Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.
Inventory Management: Keep track of product levels and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be replenished.
Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Order Accuracy: Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and timely.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service during peak hours.
Limited Time Menu Items: Learn and stay informed about different Limited Time Menu items to prepare them correctly and assist in training other kitchen staff.
Qualifications:
Passion for Cooking: Enjoys creating delicious food and takes pride in their culinary skills.
Experience: Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role preferred.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation.
Multitasking Ability: Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Communication Skills: Effective communication with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Working Conditions:
Environment: Fast-paced kitchen setting with frequent use of kitchen equipment and exposure to heat.
Physical Requirements: May require standing or walking for extended periods and occasional lifting or carrying of up to 50 pounds.

Salary Information
