About the Role:
The Finance and Leasing Outside Sales Representative at DTI Trucks plays a critical role in driving the company's growth by securing new financing and leasing agreements with customers. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in finance, leasing, or equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of financial products, leasing structures, and credit evaluation processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close sales.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the commercial truck or heavy equipment industry.
- Familiarity with CRM software and financial application processing systems.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess customer creditworthiness.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential customers through targeted outside sales efforts, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Assess customer financial needs and recommend appropriate leasing and financing options that meet their operational and budgetary requirements.
- Collaborate with internal credit and finance teams to prepare and submit accurate lease and finance applications, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of finance and lease agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and contract statuses using CRM software to track progress and forecast sales.
- Provide ongoing support to customers throughout the lease or finance term, addressing any questions or issues that arise to foster long-term relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in financial regulations to provide informed advice and maintain a competitive edge.
