Job Summary:
As a Substitute Teacher, you will contribute to the education and well-being of our students. You will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in the classroom during the absence of regular teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management:
- Effectively manage classroom dynamics and ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.
- Implement and follow lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher.
Instructional Delivery:
- Deliver instructional material as outlined in lesson plans, maintaining engagement, and addressing student questions.
Student Support:
- Provide additional support to students as needed.
- Address student concerns and inquiries with empathy and understanding.
Adherence to Policies:
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Report any incidents or issues to the school administration promptly.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with school staff, including administrators and fellow teachers.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a seamless transition during the teacher's absence.
Flexibility:
- Adapt to different teaching styles, grade levels, and subjects as required.
- Be available for short-notice assignments.
Professionalism:
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with students, staff, and parents.
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework preferred.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning.
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with educators and other staff.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to stand, sit, move around the classroom for extended periods, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Lifting, bending, and carrying classroom materials and supplies.
- Operate a computer and other office machinery such as a copy machine.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written, and listen regularly.
