 Welder I – 1st Shift

 Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 6:30 AM – 12:30 PM (early Fridays!)


CTech Manufacturing is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Welder I to join our growing team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone ready to start a career in welding and manufacturing, no long resume required. If you’re eager to learn, work with your hands, and build real skills, we’ll provide the on-the-job training to help you succeed. As a Welder I, you’ll support our welding operations by preparing materials, setting up equipment, and performing basic MIG and TIG welding under supervision in a safe, team-focused environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Prepare materials and work areas for welding operations
  • Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment with guidance
  • Perform basic welding tasks on metal components and assemblies under supervision
  • Complete post-weld finishing, including grinding, shaping, and cleaning parts
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all safety procedures and quality standard
  • Participate in hands-on training and skill development

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous welding experience is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure with accuracy.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
  • Steady hands and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Basic understanding of math concepts relevant to welding (e.g., measurements, angles).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Work Environment:

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to welding equipment, heat, and noise.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
