Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day field execution and workforce operations for Emerald Blue New Mexico. This includes labor deployment, fleet oversight, warehouse coordination, and job-site execution. The Operations Manager works closely with the Regional Operations Manager and project teams to ensure high-quality service delivery, cost control, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Execution
- Oversee regional labor deployment, warehouse operations, and fleet management across for our Albuquerque location.
- Ensure daily execution meets company standards for quality, safety, efficiency, and on-time performance
- Monitor resource needs and adjust staffing and schedules as needed
- Coordinate with project managers, coordinators, and installers to support accurate job execution
Team & Workflow Management
- Supervise field and warehouse crew, coordinators, drivers, and scheduler
- Drive productivity through coaching, job planning, and process adherence
- Support field leadership development through training and accountability
- Maintain labor and warehouse staffing and operational alignment across locations
Operational Systems & Reporting
- Ensure ServiceTRAX and other systems are used for tracking labor, delivery, and job status
- Monitor operational KPIs and develop plans for improvement when targets are not met
- Ensure compliance with the company safety protocols, facility requirements, and vehicle usage policies
Collaboration & Client Support
- Support sales and project teams in meeting client expectations
- Respond to on-site issues and client concerns during project execution
- Lead root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring problems
Qualifications & Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted
- 5+ years of experience in operations, field services, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Background in commercial furniture installation, warehousing, or relocation services preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workforce/job tracking platforms
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with job-site protocols, installation practices, and warehouse workflows
- Hands-on leadership style with ability to motivate and direct field teams
