The Conyngham Primary Health Care Center is an affiliate of Children's Service Center
Purpose of this position:
Assist the Medical Director of Primary Care Services and Clinical Staff by performing necessary duties to ensure supportive care to the patient’s needs. This individual should have the ability to work independently and as a team member to ensure good judgement and decision-making skills are utilized. The ability to work flexible hours in a fast pace environment is essential to the quality of care needed for the clients we serve.
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting doctors in providing and updating medical histories and contact information in patient file
- Ability to performed standard care procedure such as:
- drawing blood, checking vitals and/or collecting lab samples
- Comfortable discussing sensitive health issues with patients
- Ability to uphold patient confidentiality with the utmost professionalism

Qualifications:
Clinical Medical Assistant 1-2 years of experience preferred
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of a program for Medical Assistant/Administrative Medical Assistant/Nurse Aide required
- Designation as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification required
- Must have working knowledge of electronic medical records
- Computer knowledge and skills required
