We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality support and assistance to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility

- Monitor and document residents' health status, vital signs, and any changes in condition

- Support residents with feeding and hydration needs

- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

- Follow care plans and communicate effectively with nursing staff and other team members

- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with facility policies and procedures

- Ensure residents' dignity and respect at all times


Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment

- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred

- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Physical ability to assist with resident mobility and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

Minimum requirements include the following:

Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.

Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.

  • Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of team work.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
  • Must be able to relay information concerning a resident’s condition.
  • Must not pose a threat to the health and safety of other individuals in the workplace.
  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Meets general health requirements according to facility policy, including medical and physical exams and checking immunity status to various infectious diseases.
  • Ability to assist in evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to perform resident care.
  • Ability to lift, move, push or pull a minimum of 35 pounds.  
  • May work beyond assigned working hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
