Staff Physical Therapist

POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Staff PT is to ensure patients receive optimal physical therapy treatment at True Sports to achieve their goals. This includes the effective evaluation and treatment of patients, determining ongoing treatment plans, and completing comprehensive and timely documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Mentor, coach, and train new staff PTs to help ensure effective company and clinic onboarding
- Conduct in services over continuing education courses for clinic and/or company
- Host a minimum of one clinical student and additional students as available
- Conduct thorough assessments of athletes’ injuries, medical history, and physical condition to then develop personalized treatment plans based on findings; focusing on restoring function, reducing pain, and preventing further injury
- Work closely with athletes, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to monitor and optimize treatment plans to ensure progress and achievement of rehabilitation goals
- Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and modalities to address musculoskeletal issues and promote optimal recovery
- Provide education and guidance on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and self-management strategies
- Maintain timely, accurate and up-to-date billing and documentation for patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and clinic throughout the day
- Organize and participate in community, schools, clubs, fitness facilities, etc., marketing events

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Valid state license to practice
- At least 18 months of PT experience, with 12 months being at True Sports
- Preferred Certifications: CSCS, PES, ATC, USAW, SCS, OCS
Salary Information
$85000.00 - $95000.00
Annual Salary
