About this position

Description:

• Install and assemble Bulk Material Handling Equipment/Structures in the field (Conveyors, Rock Crushers, Screens, Hoppers,    etc.)

• MIG/ARC welding

• Work with customers, suppliers, and other employees in a professional manner

• Perform other duties as assigned 

• Work hours vary from 50 to 65 hours per week

• Work schedule varies from day shit to night shift, weekdays & weekends


Requirements:

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years relevant experience3

• Must be mechanically inclined 

• Must be able to use welding tools, hand tools, air tools and large specialized tools specific to the job/project

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Excellent customer service skills

• Self-motivated, self-starter with can do attitude

• Ability to travel overnight for extended periods of time

• Possess valid Class E Driver's License

• Be able to demonstrate understanding of rigging and rigging requirements

• Must be willing to work outdoors 10-12 hours per day in various weather conditions

• Must be able to travel each week for extended periods of time, but usually home on weekends


Performs climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing for long periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.  Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.  This position requires the incumbent to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.


This position is subject to working inside as well as outside environmental conditions, such as extreme heat and cold.  This position is subject to noise, vibration, hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles and electrical current.  This position is also subject to air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
