About the Role:
- Responsible for all revenue cycle functions performed in the faculty practice through collaboration and communication with physicians, staff, and billing services to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manages the staff and operations of the faculty practice, evaluating operational needs and providing recommendations to continually improve performance against budget, and standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all aspects of human resource and personnel administration of assigned non-physician staff.
- Manages day to day office operations and monitors activities of assigned personnel.
- Conducts staff meetings, maintains minutes, and plans and coordinates training programs as needed to maintain proficiency and safety of staff
- Responsible for all aspects of practice revenue cycle management.
- Collaborates with the Director of Reimbursement in reviewing fee schedules, ICD-9 codes and CPT codes.
- Facilitates problem resolution between physician practice and billing agencies, managed care and third party payors, physicians, patients and other Hospital departments as needed.
- Responsible for the day to day and ongoing administrative and operational management of the physician practice to insure the highest degree of operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensures effective risk oversight and management of the office.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required
- Experience: Minimum four years of outpatient clinic operations management/revenue cycle experience
