Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Desktop Support Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will provide first-level IT support for our growing organization. This is an onsite role at our headquarters focused on laptop provisioning, onboarding/offboarding, and remote end-user support.

Duties

  • Set up, configure, and re-provision laptops (Windows 11)
  • Prepare devices for new hires and re-issue returned laptops
  • Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, including:
  • Account creation and removal
  • Laptop setup and shipping coordination
  • New hire IT orientation
  • Provide remote desktop support to staff across the organization
  • Troubleshoot issues involving:
  • Windows 11
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Meet)
  • Login/access problems
  • Wi-Fi/VPN and cellular laptop connectivity
  • Maintain user accounts across vendors including Google Workspace, Adobe, AT&T, Verizon, and other approved platforms
  • Coordinate with third-party IT vendors when needed
  • Document issues and resolutions and follow internal IT procedures
  • Learn and support basic healthcare applications and EMR systems (training provided)

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11 troubleshooting
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace
  • Experience managing user accounts and access across multiple systems
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to support non-technical users
  • Comfortable working onsite for device provisioning and hardware support

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting remote teams
  • Familiarity with Google Voice
  • Experience with cellular-enabled laptops (AT&T/Verizon)
  • Healthcare IT experience and basic HIPAA awareness

Salary Information

$50000.0 - $60000.0 Annual Salary
