What You’ll Do:

We are hiring a skilled General Maintenance Technician to maintain our facilities and equipment. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and keeping accurate maintenance records. Your role is vital to ensuring our facilities and equipment remain in excellent condition.

• Maintain light fixtures in common areas (paint/bulbs/ballasts)
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and other maintenance repairs as necessary to FICA offices/facilities
• Troubleshoot and test maintenance problems to diagnose and repair any issues
• Ensure that all maintenance is performed to proper standards adhering to any applicable regulations
• Maintain street signs and informational signs
• Perform air-conditioning repairs and maintenance
• Maintain Park area (Playground/Dog Park/Basketball Court)
• Maintain all sidewalks and cart pathways
• Maintain all shuttle stops
• Maintain FICA fountains
• Comply with all Fisher Island standards (i.e., grooming, conduct, policies and procedures)
• Respond to inquiries regarding any maintenance/and or repair to be done on the property and assess proper action to be taken to ensure maintenance completion 
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Must possess a valid driver’s license 
• Experience and knowledge in working with electrical, plumbing, repair, and maintenance
• Speak, read and write English
