AIR FILTER TECHNICIAN

The primary job responsibilities of the air filter technician include loading proper air filters, tools and any other required materials for each service in company vehicle, installing air filters properly in HVAC systems, and disposing of filters.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installation of air filters on HVAC systems located on equipment or in ceiling filter grills.

  • Working in and around air handling equipment.

  • Properly document service requirements such as filter sizes, quantities, locations and tools needed to complete the job.

  • Requires proper installation procedures.

  • Follows all safety and requirements set by the customer.

  • Load and unload trucks at the end of the day.

  • Shall always demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, customers, and management.

  • Must have the ability to problem solve while on the job site and work well under pressure meeting multiple deadlines.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Analytical ability to prioritize work and move from task to task.

  • Must be detail oriented.

Education and Experience:

  • Highschool diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires use of ladders 6' ,8', LO' 12' extension ladders up to 32'. Being able to work while on ladders

  • for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to work on rooftops, catwalks, and other high locations six to 10 hours a day.

  • Standing, walking, reaching, and climbing for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to work in a stooping, kneeling, crouching position or crawling in tight enclosed spaces.

  • Working near mechanical parts, in high places, and around airborne particles in varying degrees.

  • Working in an environment of moderate to loud noise and hot (up to 1L5 degrees) and/or cold ' temperatures for extended periods of time.

  • Lift 10-50lbs. Rope up 10-50lbs of material to roof tops. Carry 10-50lbs up flights of stairs.

  • Ability to drive company vehicle (14ft box truck) throughout the valley.

$18.0 - $18.0 Hourly Wage
