We are seeking a Maintenance worker for Hawaiian Memorial Park. This position is responsible for cleaning tasks in state rooms, chapels, restrooms, offices, and any other areas assigned by management. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and previous experience in a general labor.

Responsibilities

Clean Funeral Home floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them

Gather and empty trash

Service, clean, and supply restrooms

Clean laboratory equipment, such as glassware and metal instruments, using solvents, brushes, and rags

Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks as needed

Ensure cleaning schedules are followed

Ensure comfort and care of customers

Maintain water in each state room

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment

Notify management of unsafe conditions or need for repairs

Prioritize tasks so each family has a clean space

Review service schedule daily

Clean Chapel before and after each service

Complete other duties as directed by Management

$14 - $16 Hourly Wage

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education preferred
• 6+ months experience preferred
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
