Position Description:
Overview:
Performs a variety of duties to provide customer service and prepare loan closings on a variety of loan programs. Under general supervision, but in compliance with established policies and procedures, work with Lenders, Branch Managers, Title Companies, Realtors and Customers.

Responsibilities and Results:
The primary duty is to coordinate, prepare and review loan packages with accuracy and deliver them to the proper closing agent in a timely manner.
Complete post-closing processing of files.
Resolve customer or employee issues regarding loan accounts.
Follow up with customers and Lenders for information as needed and complete other tasks and/or projects as required by the Supervisor.
This position will greet customers on the telephone and in person and be the contact person for Realtors and Title Companies in coordinating closings.
Assist in daily and special events of commercial and residential lending.
This individual will type letters and correspondence, record and process transactions with accuracy and speed, and will perform regular reconciliation routines on accounts related to loan department as needed.
Positively contributes to the success of others by assisting other departments as needed.
Assists with any other duties as directed or required by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High school diploma or completion of GED is required.
Work Experience:
Previous banking and/or loan processing experience is preferred.

Skills and Knowledge:
Knowledge of Government Regulations, industry procedures and Loan Programs is preferred.
A good knowledge of regulatory compliance, commercial and consumer credit loans, principles, policies & practices, and general knowledge of financial statement analysis is preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and maintain positive relationships with others.
Must be a team player, be creative in problem solving, and have ability to identify and resolve routine problems.
Ability to work under pressure efficiently, accurately and to adapt to changing and stressful environment.
Knowledge of computer programs such as Word, Excel and various other programs is required.
Excellent organizational, decision-making and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to effectively manage sensitive situations and confidential data.

Must be able to keep all sensitive information confidential.
A sense of urgency as well as attention to details are extremely important.
Speed and accurate use of computer, calculator and other business machines is required.
Willingness to assume new responsibilities, ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing and possibly stressful environment is expected.
Working hours may vary.
On time attendance is expected.

Working Conditions:
Generally good with some exposure to noise, heat, dust or other adverse factors.
Climbing of stairs and some lifting of heavy items.
A high amount of pressure to work efficiently, accurately and maintain good employee and customer relations.
Considerable effort and eye strain from computer work and continued checking of all detail work in the department.
