  • Meat Preparation and Cutting Assistance:

    • Assisting meat cutters in preparing various cuts of meat.
    • Ensuring the quality and cleanliness of the meat processing area.
  • Packaging:

    • Weighing, wrapping, and packaging meat products for display or customer orders.
    • Ensuring that all products are properly labeled with correct information (weight, price, and expiration date).
  • Stocking and Merchandising:

    • Stocking packaged meat products in the display cases.
    • Ensuring that the display area is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing to customers.
    • Rotating products to ensure older stock is used first (first-in, first-out method).
  • Quality Control:

    • Inspecting meat products for freshness and ensuring they meet the store's quality standards.
    • Disposing of any expired or spoiled products according to health and safety regulations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Adhering to food safety standards, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
    • Ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and maintained according to store policy.
  • Customer Service:

    • Assisting customers with inquiries about meat products and helping them find specific cuts or types of meat.
    • Taking special orders or custom packaging requests from customers.
  • Inventory Management Support:

    • Assisting with inventory checks and reporting low stock or issues to the Meat Department Manager or Director.
  • Other Duties Required by the Manager
