Site Logistics Manager

G‑3 Chickadee—formerly part of Goodyear Chemical—is undergoing a major transformation. As a newly independent, Private Equity–backed organization, we are modernizing our infrastructure, implementing new systems (SAP, MES, cybersecurity), and building a strong operational foundation for continued growth.

We are seeking a Site Logistics Manager reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, to lead the customer-facing supply chain organization responsible for the end-to-end order-to-delivery process. This role ensures operational excellence in customer order execution, service performance, and issue resolution while partnering with Sales, Planning, Logistics, and Operations teams to meet customer commitments.

What You’ll Do

•    Lead and develop a team responsible for customer order management and execution.

•    Oversee the end-to-end order-to-delivery process, ensuring accuracy, on-time shipment, and service reliability.

•    Serve as the escalation point for customer service issues, delivery disruptions, and order exceptions.

•    Partner with Commercial Sales, Supply Planning, Logistics, and Production teams to align supply with customer demand.

•    Monitor customer service KPIs including OTIF, order accuracy, backorders, and service level performance.

•    Drive resolution of root cause issues impacting customer supply and implement corrective actions.

•    Ensure effective use of SAP and order management systems to maintain data accuracy and operational control.

•    Lead coordination of export and domestic logistics activities tied to customer deliveries.

•    Oversee customer master data governance and system integrity.

•    Support onboarding of new customers, ensuring operational readiness and process alignment.

•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience, process efficiency, and cost performance.

•    Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

What You Bring

Required:

•    Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

•    3-5+ years of experience in customer supply chain, order management, or logistics operations or related military experience.

•    3+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment or related military experience.

•    3+ years’ experience working in ERP systems such as SAP. 

Preferred:

•    Experience in chemical, polymer, or industrial manufacturing environments.

•    Experience with international logistics and export coordination.

•    Continuous improvement or Lean/Six Sigma exposure.

•    Strong background in customer service operations and cross-functional coordination.
