The Opportunity

We are seeking a polished, student-focused Master Esthetician Instructor to join our Master Esthetics faculty. In this role, you will combine your clinical expertise and teaching passion to deliver advanced theory, hands-on training, and mentorship. This is a 100% on-site role at our Richmond campus with consistent evening availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach engaging theory classes and hands-on labs in accordance with program objectives.

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, demonstrations, and learning resources.

• Evaluate student performance through quizzes, exams, projects, and practical assessments.

• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and records in the College’s LMS (STARS).

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (DPOR, HIPAA/FERPA, OSHA, Title IX) and college policies.

• Provide clear, constructive feedback to foster student growth and success.

• Contribute to curriculum review, program development, and continuous quality improvement.

• Model professionalism and ethical standards for students preparing for licensure and careers.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Virginia Master Esthetics License (DPOR).

• Active Virginia Master Esthetics Instructor Certificate or willingness to obtain one with College support.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed esthetician.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital tools.

• Dedication to continuous professional development.

Preferred:

• Previous teaching or training experience in esthetics/master esthetics.

• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
