About this position
Description:
Westminster Village is seeking a dependable 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician - Facilities & Property Security to serve as the overnight presence for campus safety, security, and basic maintenance support.
What You'll Do
- Conduct overnight security rounds of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas
- Monitor doors, access points, lighting, alarms, and report safety or security concerns
- Respond to after-hours incidents and emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when needed
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs (lighting, basic plumbing/electrical, HVAC filters)
- Complete work orders and document security rounds and incidents
- Assist with snow/ice removal, trash removal, and basic campus support tasks
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Maintenace, facilities, or security experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism
- Basic knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
- Willingness to participate in required training
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Indoor and outdoor work, including exposure to weather and use of PPE
- Overnight shift availability required
The schedule for this position will be 3rd shift, Thursday through Monday. Flexibility may be available based on operational needs.
Starting wage is $18.78 - $20.78 per hour, plus shift differential.
