Description:
  • Support up to 60% of the passive and antenna product line.
  • Read and follow mechanical blueprints, assembly and testing instructions, and other related documentation. Follow verbal instructions when required for escalated cases. 
  • Prepare test reports, take photos, print labels, and complete documentation to close out finished work orders. 
  • Performs other duties and specific projects assigned by the manufacturing supervisor and engineering.
  • Perform mechanical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting for a wide variety of products. Below are the work categories you may perform within the product line in full or partial:

           o Use hand tools, microscopes, and assembly fixtures to build high precision, delicate products.

           o Operate standard equipment to perform some modifications to support the final product assembly.

           o Operate laser cutting/engraving/welding machines to cut/engrave/seal material for assembly preparation. 

           o Use hand solder tools to build sub-systems.

           o Use microwave and millimeter standard test equipment, including the over-the-air (OTA) antenna ranges to verify product                       

                performance after assembly.



Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required. 
  • 1 to 3 years’ assembly work experience in manufacturing environment is preferred. 
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to work with small parts and hand tools under a microscope for long periods of time.
  • Experience using basic hand assembly tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, etc. 
  • Possess basic computer skills including the knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak basic English.

  

Desired Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Knowledge of basic microwave/RF principles and waveguides
  • Experience working in a microwave/RF-related manufacturing company
  • Experience using Oracle’s NetSuite ERP system or MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using industrial laser cutting/welding/engraving machinery
  • Experience using the solder irons in a microwave/RF-related manufacturing company
  • Experience using Microwave test equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers
     


Salary Information

$25.50 - $28.00 Hourly Wage
