Love fast-paced events and working behind the scenes to make the magic happen? The Banquet/Event Server helps set the stage for unforgettable experiences at Rumbling Bald. In this role, you’ll assist with event set-ups and service while delivering genuine hospitality and an exceptional dining experience for our members and guests.


Qualified candidates must be available March - November and able to work up to 40 hours per week, including weekdays and weekends.Must be at least 18 years old to work as a Server and at least 21 years old to work as a Bartender. Hours may vary and include early mornings, evenings, and shifts extending as late as midnight, depending on scheduled events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and break down tables, chairs, dance floor, AV equipment, and other event needs 
  • Keep banquet rooms clean, organized, and event-ready 
  • Update the event signboard daily 
  • Transport tables, chairs, and equipment as needed 
  • Secure the AV room and track AV inventory; report ordering needs to leadership 
  • Follow direction and communicate with the Food & Beverage Captain, Dining Room Manager, and Food & Beverage Director 
  • Assist with serving and/or bartending at special events and in restaurants 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to read and follow a Banquet Event Order (BEO)
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of banquet/event set-up procedures 
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills 
  • Professional appearance and positive demeanor
     

Physical Requirements

  • Moderate physical activity; ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs 
  • Standing/walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours) 
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, fumes/odors; must follow basic safety precautions
  • Maintain valid driver's license
