George School, an all-gender Quaker boarding/day high school located in Newtown, PA, seeks a Spanish Teacher beginning August 2026 for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Responsibilities
- Teach Spanish language and richness and variety of Hispanic cultures.
- Responsible for all aspects of lesson planning, instruction, and assessment.
- Foster a dynamic, interactive, and engaging learning environment.
- Partner collaboratively with Spanish teaching team and other members of Language Department.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish; native speaker preferred.
- Experience teaching Spanish.
- Familiarity with Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate curricula is a plus.
- Experience using or integrating technology tools to enhance teaching and learning.
- Openness to exploring innovative teaching strategies and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- A willingness to take pedagogical risks to enhance student learning experiences.
- Dedication to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
