JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing team! Previous experience is helpful, but not required as we offer complete on the job training for this position. As a Quality Assurance Tech, you'll play a crucial part in measuring and testing components & ensuring our products meet the highest of standards our customers have come to expect from RMC. You'll learn RMC's processes and techniques, perform detailed hands on in-process and final inspections, and work closely with Engineering and Production to promote, maintain and improve quality standards. This position is perfect for candidates with little or no experience in inspection or electrical assembly as we offer complete on the job training and career advancement opportunities beginning day one!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Follow work instructions to assist in transforming raw components into finished products
- Conduct visual and machine testing of finished products
- Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all quality standards
- Accurately enter data and maintain detailed inspection records
- Collaborate with Engineering to improve processes and ensure accountability
- Uphold customer expectations by identifying and resolving quality issues
- Learn and understand RMC manufacturing processes to perform thorough inspections
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluent in reading, writing, and understanding English
- Basic knowledge of measuring equipment a plus, but not required
- Basic knowledge of GD&T a plus, but not required
- General understanding & knowledge of how to read a drawing/blueprint
- Ability to stay focused and on task, regardless of what other people are doing
- Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; typing speed of at least 50 WPM
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to sit, stand, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
