We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to play a key role in supporting our Custom Contract Manufacturing (CCM) group, with a focus on Naval Lights. This role ensures the accurate flow of inventory and the timely preparation of kits that keep our assembly lines moving without delay.

Job Duties
  • Function of product receipt and goods storage.
  • Accurately gather and stage all required components for each workstation.
  • Visually inspect kits for accuracy & completeness.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, monitor levels and stock movements.
  • Conduct audits & reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
  • Promptly address issues related to damage or missing items.
  • Apply inventory control measures to prevent discrepancies and shortages.
  • Manage availability and accuracy of supplier-owned inventory.
  • Provide assembly support during peak times.
  • Support shipping activities.
     
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; education or certification in logistics considered an asset
  • Previous experience in a similar role in manufacturing or distribution is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to respond to changing production demands or unforeseen challenges.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and packages.
  • Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching during work activities.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if needed to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn and use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is required.
