  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • The Educator for Clinical Support and Ancillary Services serves as a resource to staff and leadership and as a subject matter expert in educational methodology to promote safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care. Reporting to the Education Manager of Clinical Support and Ancillary Services this role is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of education programs, competency validation, and certification oversight for non-nursing clinical and support departments.

      In collaboration with department leaders and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, the Educator conducts ongoing learning needs assessments and designs evidence-based education and training programs aligned with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and best practices. The Educator evaluates program effectiveness, maintains required documentation, and fosters staff engagement in professional development initiatives that support organizational goals and continuous improvement.

  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • Bachelor’s degree in allied health discipline (Respiratory Therapy, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiologic Sciences, etc.
      • OR
      • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field.

    • Minimum Experience
      • Two to three years of healthcare experience.

    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • N/A

    • Preferred Education
      • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Public Health, Allied Health Discipline, or organizational leadership.

    • Preferred Experience
      • 2-3 years of experience in any of the following:
        • Staff education
        • Clinical training
        • Competency program management
      • Experience preparing for regulatory surveys
      • Experience using learning management system

    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • Certification in Specialty and/or education field

    • Other Requirements
