Architectural (Building Interior) Engineer (5 Years Experience)
Purpose Provide engineering expertise for the architectural interior components of the Office construction, ensuring technical compliance, quality, and timely delivery for the Semiconductor plant construction project in West Lafayette Indiana.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and material submissions for architectural interior works.
2. Act as the primary mediator between Architecture (Base-build) and Interior Design teams to resolve spatial or structural conflicts.
3. Lead the Approval Process for all interior design changes, ensuring the client is fully briefed on aesthetic and financial implications.
4. Monitor site construction progress, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and project timelines.
5. Conduct quality inspections and oversee resolution of technical issues.
6. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure proper procurement and installation of interior elements.
7. Directly manage the Client Coordination, translating complex design technicalities into clear business decisions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Architectural Interior experience.
• Competency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, etc.). Preferred Experience
• Experience in building interior and precision construction environments.
